The Mother of Girls

I ran across a super cute little poem the other day and I just had to chuckle at how accurate it was. A quick trip around my house with my camera after getting two girls ready for school proves just how accurate it truly is.

Shoes that never make it to their closets

Clothes thrown on the floor because the skirt she wanted was on the bottom

Self explanatory

What happens when 5 & 6 year old girls need to find the perfect hair accessory in a hurry

An abused closet after Grace gets done looking for an outfit and shoes (the shoes were probably in the pile by the stairs shown above)

An assortment of nail polish, lip gloss, lotion and chap-stick, none of it mine.

Love getting great deals, so does their Mimi!

Yup they are girls through and through. I love being the mother to girls!!

Grace, the 5 Year Old

Our sweet little Grace turned 5!!!! Yes, 5 years have gone by since she was born and we heard her sweet little cries and thanked God for another sweet little blessing, another sweet little new soul that we were entrusted with. We were grateful that she was beautiful, healthy, and perfect.

Here is a sweet video my sister made for Grace. It's a little gory....I had a c-section....That is your warning
:)

Over the last 5 years though we have been amazed, proud, humbled and in awe of our sweet Grace. She is spunky, strong willed, compassionate, amazingly beautiful in our eyes and just as beautiful on the inside as the out. Over the last 5 years she has given us so much....so much more than we will be able to give to her. Here are some sweet memories over the last 5 years of little miss Grace.

Grace, you are an amazing little person. So full of life, excitement and wonder. You keep us on our toes and you keep us laughing. We have been so blessed by you!!! We love you sweet girl.

She has grown so fast and now she is Grace, the 5 year old.  We had a roller skating party for her she had fun skating her heart out and showing off her skating skills. :) Of course present time was fun too.

I hope she thinks her last 5 years have been as grand and we do.

Our Easter

Easter has come and gone, and I'm late blogging about it. :) but.......the important thing is that I AM blogging about it. It's late, yes....but I did it none the less. Go Cescha, gettin stuff done!! That was a great pep talk!! now on to Easter :)

Two Easter parties, 4 egg hunts, happy joyful moments, and lots of plastic eggs filled with goodies sums up Easter this year. Every holiday is so much more exciting for kids than adults. I enjoy holidays, I actually LOVE holidays and all the fond memories, great food, and the time you get to spend with your family and friends,  but not like my children do. They are ecstatic that something "SPECIAL" is going to happen, they talk about it, plan for it and eagerly await until it's time to celebrate! I love that about my kiddos and encourage them to get all crazy happy about it, that's how memories are made, I think :) So here's our Easter.. shown via pictures.
